Biography

Hi, I'm Ryan Vincent Sauger.
Ever since I was a little boy, I've been a lover of creating and customizing one-of-a-kind art pieces. Whether it was building skateboards, Frankensteining bicycles, or drawing on shoes, some of my first art ventures as an young adult were done on motorcycles. Each motorcycle; 5 in total, were all custom painted.

As far as my dinosaur art, I have been drawing this shape of dinosaur (Sauropod) since I was in the third grade after selecting brachiosaurus for a school science project. I drew this image throughout grade school and have never stopped!

In my second year of blowing glass I decided to try this shape of dinosaur and it was a success. I have now created near 500 glass dinosaurs and at least 50 glow-in-the-dark dinosaur paintings. I have become known for this type of dinosaur and its symbolism. This imagery signifies the biggest and strongest creatures to ever exist. Also, in my opinion the cutest! This shape is the way I choose to practice my art. I have been a scientific glass blower and a full time artist for over 7 years now.

This past year I was in my hometown Binghamton, New York and went to my childhood local public park. The image that still remains on the park entry sign is a very similar Dino to the one I've been drawing since I was young. I feel there is a connection between this and my art as I learned how to ride my bike and rollerblade at these parks as a child. These parks were my happy place and the dinosaur imagery continues to remind me of that.

I now create these one-of-a-kind dinosaurs which are essentially man-made glass crystals with the greatest hopes to bring happiness to all. Thank you for your loving support of my art venture. As I like to say,
"The best is yet to come!"
